Frequently asked questions
Is Wayalbum free?
Yes. Core planning and journal features are free. As Wayalbum grows, new advanced features may be offered as paid options.
Can I edit the AI-generated trip?
Yes. Every AI draft is fully editable — routes, stays, nights, and daily activities. Open a saved trip and refine it in the Trip Draft workspace.
Can I plan a trip manually?
Yes. You can build a trip from scratch with the manual planner: add sleeping bases, days, and activities yourself, with optional AI suggestions for individual days.
Does Wayalbum book hotels or flights?
No. Wayalbum helps you plan and organize your trip. When accommodation links are shown, they may open third-party booking websites such as Booking.com. You are responsible for checking prices, availability, terms, and booking details before making a reservation.
Are accommodation links affiliate links?
Yes. Accommodation search links may be affiliate links to Booking.com. If you book through them, Wayalbum may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Can I export my trip?
Yes. From the Journal workspace you can export a square PDF ready for a photo-book printer, with your notes, photos, and page layouts — including while the trip is still in progress.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Email support@wayalbum.com from the address connected to your Wayalbum account and ask for account or data deletion. We will handle the request as soon as we can.

How to use Wayalbum
Creating a trip
Sign in and choose New trip from your dashboard. Enter your starting point, preferences, and let the planner generate a draft route and day-by-day plan you can refine. Prefer full control? Start a manual trip instead.
Editing a trip draft
Open a saved trip and use the Trip Draft workspace to adjust the route, stays, and daily activities. Changes save to your account automatically.
Travel Mode
Switch to Travel Mode when you are on the trip — exact calendar dates are optional as long as the trip has days or stays. Capture notes, check off activities, and add photos along the way — they feed into your journal whenever you open it. Without dates, days show as Day 1, Day 2, …
Journal builder
Open Journal anytime from a saved trip — you do not need to mark the trip complete first. Compose cover pages, day spreads, and photo layouts in a square format from draft and Travel Mode notes as you go. Marking a trip complete is optional and only updates its dashboard status.
Exporting PDF
Use Export PDF from the journal editor whenever you like — including while the trip is still in progress — to export a square PDF ready for a photo-book printer. Always review margins, bleed, crop, and image quality before ordering prints from a third-party shop.
Account and saved trips
Your trips are tied to your account and appear on the dashboard. Sign in on any device with the same account to access them. Use Settings to manage your profile.
