Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026. This is an MVP terms document and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

These terms are a practical placeholder for early access. They are not legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public production launch.

Use of the app

Trip Planner is provided for personal trip planning and journal creation. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access.

AI-generated planning

AI suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying routes, bookings, visas, safety information, and all travel decisions before you go.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us the rights needed to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the service (for example, rendering your journal or exporting PDF).

Printable journal / export

PDF export is provided as-is. Physical print ordering is not currently offered through the app. You are responsible for how you use exported files with third-party printers.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trip Planner is provided without warranties. We are not liable for travel outcomes, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Specific liability limits should be defined with legal counsel before launch.

Changes to the service

Features, pricing, and availability may change as the product develops. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
